About the association
Eritrean Liberation Front Veterans is a nonprofit association of men and women who served in the Eritrean Liberation Front, together with their families and friends. It is run by its members, for its members and for the memory of those who did not come home.
What the association sets out to do
- Honour the martyrs and the veterans of the Eritrean Liberation Front.
- Preserve the history of the ELF as its veterans lived it: their accounts, photographs and documents.
- Support veterans and their families in times of illness, hardship and bereavement.
- Bring veterans together in fellowship, wherever they now live.
- Pass the history on to younger Eritreans and to anybody who wants to understand it.
